Pure Love of Lizzy: Episode 8

It was an unlucky day for Gozie. His effort to evade any possible arrest was relinquished. Right in front of his hostel, as he was about to run away, the police apprehended him.

"You have the right to remain silence, anything you say or do may be used against you in a court of law"
These were the words Gozie heard when he saw Lizzy and Amaka entering his hostel with some policemen.

He was agape that Lizzy could gather the courage to report him to the police. It was later he found out that, it was the possible effect of Chief Ohadike's influence.

That is the power of a woman. Chief Ohadike was his client but Lizzy was the main executioner of the job, that was something Gozie never realized. It never came to his mind that Lizzy could found favour in the sight of the same men he thought he was satisfying through her pains.
He was remanded in police custody, after much interrogation and torture to produce the remaining tape and also name the friend he said he gave it to, he denied not having in possession of any other tape, that it was merely a statement he created to incite fear in Lizzy's mind so that she will adhere to his warnings without ushering it into a second thought.

 Amaka was applauded, everybody admired her zeal to stand for the truth no matter who was involved. She never allowed the material benefits she was gaining from Gozie blind her.

Gozie was later charged to court and was mashed with 6 years imprisonment.

And not only that, the news of what happened fled like a wild fire round the campus. And it attracted the school authority into canceling his admission

Lizzy regained her freedom and decided to return to the former ways her parents trained her. Like she promised, she became a new creature in God and dumped her sinful ways.

But, was it that a soft decision to make? Lizzy got entangled with Chief Ohadike after he intervened and restored her freedom, she owed him a great gratitude.... But did it later turned into a tearful nightmare?

Let's watch out for the next part of "Pure Love of Lizzy" with Chief Ohadike and the appearance of Stanley....the love of Lizzy's life.....
