Okongwu didn't respond to the first call, so Damian repeated the dial.
"Hello, please I don't know what's wrong with her. She was bathing, all of a sudden, her skin started peeling off, what's going on?" Damian asked, rushing his words,
"What were you thinking asking her to bath?" Okongwu asked
"I don't understand. Is she not supposed to bath?" Confused Damian asked
"Nothing concerns her with bathing anymore......."
Okongwu was still explaining when Damian disconnected the call. He was no longer interested in what he was saying.
Okongwu noticed what happened and got furious for being disrespected.
"No one dares shun me like that! Who do you think you are?" Okongwu flared as he appeared right in Damian's room, strangling him with his evil powers.
Damian held unto his neck, trying to save himself.
Okongwu still stood 4 feet away, still controlling him, in a bid to show him how powerful he was.
"Please, make it stop" Damian struggled to beg
But Okongwu continued choking him.
"I'm sorry, please..I'm sorry." he begged, faintly still struggling to save a breath.
Then, Okongwu released him.
Damian fell to the floor, coughing.
"She is a corpse, nothing concerns her with bathing. Follow the rules and don't try to piss me off again" he warned and then disappeared
When Okongwu was strangling Damian, Prisca stood close to the bathroom door, watching them. She felt the need to rush and hold Damian, but she found her legs not moving. So she remained put.
While still trying to get himself over what Okongwu did to him, his eyes struck on Prisca who stood motionless, looking at him.
He fumed, swung to her direction and transferred his aggression to her.
He hit her mercilessly, but Prisca did not feel a pain.
It was like, he was hitting a punch bag. And he got shocked observing that.
He looked at his hands, slapped himself to see if he could feel it.
"I can feel it, but she......you are not feeling anything?'
"Yes, I didn't feel any of it" Prisca replied
And Damian staggered to his mirror side, stood in front of it, trying to understand everything. While still thinking about it, he continued regretting ever joining the "blood moon brotherhood"
"Yea, she is just a body, an empty body. Truly, I'm married to a dead body. My mother has been hitting me hard to get married. She will be heart broken if she dies without seeing my children. What have I done to myself?" He lamented, releasing a tear.
Finally, the awaited hour arrived for Damian to invoke Prisca's spirit. Everything was already put in place. The enchanted mirror was mounted at the corner of the room, with two Calabash pot which were placed on the floor, facing the mirror.
He was trying to establish a portal where the spirit will be coming through anytime he summons it.
Everything was in place and then ready to cast his spell.
But something unexpected happened, which threw Damian off balance. Prisca's spirit refused to answer him.
