Married to him - episode 7 - Ngozi Lovelyn
While she was weeping, she wished for Damian to hold her and pet her. And that was exactly what Damian was wishing for.
The atmosphere was perfect and the time clicked right.
The moment he held her, Prisca felt comfortable in his arms.
"Why is it so hard to remain angry with you?" Damian asked, giving her an intimate look
"It's because you love me" Prisca replied lovely
Just then, Pris appeared, speaking directly, into Prisca's ear "Run Prisca, leave from this house. Don't allow him touch you. Don't make love to him" She kept shouting, but Prisca wasn't able to hear her.
And Pris got frustrated and continued, but still, Prisca wasn't able to feel her presence.
She tried to see if she could make a sound, by trying to pull down a flower vase on the table, but still, no way. She tried to slap Prisca, still wasn't able to.
All efforts to touch her proved abortive.
She paused, looking at Prisca and felt mad on how she wasn't able to feel the darkness roaming around Damian.
She then, tried to see if she could strike her with headache and fever, but still couldn't. She was powerless in the mortal world and doesn't have the ability to do anything.
She felt frustrated, sad and then returned to Mrs Nduka.
"Did you see her, what is she doing now?" Mrs Nduka inquired, anxiously.
"I'm sorry, it's too late. I failed. I made a terrible mistake. I should have given her something to eat in the dream. Something that would make her fall ill instantly. I failed."
"No you did not, I failed. She was entrusted to me as a gift from God, now I have failed as a mother. I couldn't guide my only child. But, is there no other way we can save her? I'm sure there must be another way?" Mrs Nduka asked, expecting a miracle
"I am scared, for the first time. I don't know the evils he will use me to do. He will perform a very powerful evil magic that will grant me a special ability, to enable me operate here in the mortal world. I'm scared mother, save me." Pris released a tear, that was shining exactly like a silver. It wasn't flowing. It joined the air once it dropped
Mrs Nduka felt her heart torn, and swore to do anything to save her daughters, even if it will cost her, her own life.
"Can you see what they are doing now?" Mrs Nduka requested
And Pris disappeared.
After Pris disappeared, Mrs Nduka left her tears flow freely. She doesn't want to appear weak in front of Pris, so as not to demoralise her desire to continue fighting, because she too, doesn't have any idea at hand that could help her save Prisca.
"God why have you forsaken me? Take my life instead and save my Prisca. Help me Lord" She prayed with a broken heart.
Mr Nduka wasn't getting any if it. What his wife was doing in the kitchen and who she was talking to. He then ordered her to open the door or he will break it open.
"I know what I'm doing and I don't think it's necessary for you to see it. You won't stand the sight. I'm fighting for my daughter, it will be better you give me a space to do this in peace. You don't need to worry, I promise you, I will be fine, and so our daughter" Mrs Nduka assured him, with tears rolling down her cheeks.
She was hoping on faith, and as a human, there was no other ideas left for her.
At Damian's house, Pris was devastatingly sad at the sight she beheld.
Prisca was passionately making love to Damian, despite her warnings and signals.
"You stupid girl. I told you to run. I hate you, I hate ever accepting to be your guardian. You brought this upon yourself" She disappeared and returned to the spirit world.
Mrs Nduka continued siting in the kitchen, waiting for Pris to return and give her the message of what she saw at Damian's house.
She tried calling to her, but Pris refused to answer.
