It was 4:50 pm, Prisca and Damian were already done with the wedding. 

The wedding was conducted at the alter of blood moon brothers, an occultic fraternity, made up of 50 members. By marrying Prisca, he became a full member. 

Their supreme leader, Okongwu assured him that, in 24 hours, he was going to be the next billionaire. 

Damian felt extremely happy, fulfilled and appreciated him for welcoming him into the brotherhood. 

"One more thing, you are to only sleep with her on every full moon" he instructed, looking serious.

Damian observed his stiff facial reaction and wondered why, making love to Prisca was beginning to sound like a big deal.

"Why do I get the feeling that, making love to her is going to be a big deal for me?"

"Yes, a big one. She is now a corpse, which means, soon, she will start decaying. Damian, even in her rotten and smelling state, you will continue sleeping with her"

"Why did you omit this part?" Damian sounded serious, detesting the idea of even getting close to Prisca in that state

"Will that be an issue?" Okongwu asked

"No...not at all" he startled 

"Good. Now, go home and celebrate your brand new life" Okongwu said 

"Is there another part I still need to know?" Damian asked

"Yes....." Okongwu replied 

"Please, don't ask me not to marry a real woman" Damian pleaded, feeling anxious for what Okongwu was about to say next.

"You are not marrying another woman. Prisca is now your wife, your only wife. You two will remain married till you die"

Damian stood shocked, looking at Okongwu as he continued,

"You are going to live in the same house with her, sleep in the same room with her, lay on the same bed with her" 

"What? Wait...what? You can't be serious. I already planned getting rid of her and marrying another woman. You almost got me with this your expensive joke. Remember you said that, I don't need her, that I only need her spirit. So please, don't play this kind of jokes again, you are not good at all" Damian said, laughing out loud.

But Okongwu wasn't laughing along with him.

"Wait, you are not serious?" Damian asked, noticing the seriousness on Okongwu's face. 

But Okongwu didn't reply him

"You mean, I Damian, will sleep beside a corpse for the rest of my life?"

"Yes" Okongwu replied 

"But the stench won't allow me"

"That's your price for being wealthy"

"Why didn't you tell me all these things before?" Damian asked, feeling angered, disappointed

"Nobody knows the secret until he becomes a full member" Okongwu replied, walking away from him

Damian sat on the chair, rubbing his head in frustration. He started regretting the idea of being rich. 

"My life is messed up then. What's the essence of being rich when I can't flex life?" he then, took a look at Prisca who was sitting like a dressed mannequin, looking on.

"So, I'm to live the rest of myself with that thing? With a corpse?" he started hating his life, hating Okongwu for lying and deceiving him.
