Prisca was sitting quietly on the chair, where Damian left her.

She doesn't know what was going on. She watched the members chatting, laughing among themselves, having glasses of red wine without even throwing congratulations across the wind for her. She kept wondering why everything appeared so confusing to her.

"They all dressed in their best attires, like people attending a real wedding, but their behaviors are more about their own special reasons, far different from my wedding. Nobody has approached to say, congratulations on your new marriage. Damian said, his friends will grace the ceremony. Surely, he has mysterious friends" she then shifted her gaze to Damian.

She observed him closely and wondered why he was looking frustrated and sad. She tried to stand up, to ask him why he was looking sad, but her legs couldn't carry her. She was too weak. She tried calling out to him, but started coughing. She coughed out dirt, a grave yard sand.

Damian never removed his gaze on her. He saw how confused she looked after coughing out something from her mouth.

"Just look at her. I don't even like her. I did this, because I was told she has a very strong spirit, now I'm going to stuck with this corpse for the rest of my life. This is worst than death" Damian fumed, regretting ever joining the brotherhood.

He removed the eyes he fixed on Prisca, and started scanning the members. Their laughter echoed the space, and he wondered how they were managing it.

"Maybe, my own price is more grievous than theirs. I see no reason why anyone would remain happy after being made to give up 95 percent of his life"

He then stood and approached one of them.

"Hey...." he greeted, but before he could speak, the guy, who looked in his 40s, deep dark in complexion, with heavy beard, cut him in.

"I know what you are thinking now. See, we all passed through this stage. We felt the same way you are feeling now, when you will wish to turn back, but feel frustrated that, it's already late, you are stuck forever and if you try anything funny, you are losing your life, he shows no mercy. We tried to see if there was an easy way, but trust me, there wasn't. We all had to make a sacrifice. We paid the ultimate price, I don't think yours will be any different. We have accepted our new fate. The best you can do now is to enjoy your new world of wealth and fame. Life must go on, after all, what is life without money? So, take your wife home and do what he asks you"

Just then, Prisca interrupted his attention as he swiftered his neck to her direction.

As their faces stood opposite, she gestured him that she wasn't feeling too fine.

Damian walked to her direction, having a mean expression, dragged her up as they headed to the car.

"Easy, I'm not feeling fine." She said, requesting him to slow down

But Damian wasn't interested and doesn't care to what what she was saying.

He then opened the car and pushed her inside.

While in the car, Prisca coughed again. She then showed him what she coughed out.

"I'm scared, I don't know why I'm coughing out this black dirty sands. Something is wrong with me, lets go to the hospital" she begged, but Damian ignored her, started the engine and then zoom off.

"Are we going to the hospital?" she asked, while they were still on the road

"Will you just shut up, shut up your grave mouth" he ordered ferociously, while loosing his grasp of the steering, making him to swerve left, and then later gained balance of the wheels.
