Occult Spirit Battle 

Damian delved into a panic attack after his efforts to pull Prisca's spirit failed woefully. 

He rushed for his phone, as he found his hands shaking while dialing Okongwu's line.

Okongwu saw the call but refused to answer him.

"Please, pick up, I have a situation here" Damian said, continued feeling nervous, dialing the mobile line.

But Okongwu still ignored him. He wasn't done with punishing him for disrespecting him.

Damian then realised that, calling Okongwu was useless and then decided to text him. 

While still in the dream world, Prisca saw a figure walking towards her.

She stood, trying to figure out who it was.

The place was cloudy, she couldn't quite capture the person's face. 

But then, the person stopped. 

"Pris, is that you?" She called

But she was ignored. 

"You were right, I should have listened to you. I'm that stubborn fly who followed the corpse to the grave. It's too late for me now. I broke my parent's heart."

While she was lamenting, she doesn't know that the figure was already close, standing behind her.

She continued "But how could he do that to me. I thought that, what we shared was real. He tricked me" she wept 

"My daughter?" Mrs Nduka called, from behind

On hearing that, she quickly turned and was shocked to see her mother standing in front of her

She hugged her so tightly. She missed her mother so much.

She then left her kneels fall to the ground, asking for forgiveness. 

"I failed you mother. I broke your heart. Can you ever forgive me?" she cried, apologising.

Mrs Nduka held her by the shoulder, lifting her up.

"It's Ok my Angel. That's why I have come to save you" Mrs Nduka said

"Wait, this is a dream, how come we are conversing as if we are awake, in the real world?" Prisca got curious 

"No my daughter, this is not dream. We are in inbetween realms. A place where people's souls emerge before crossing over to the other side" Mrs Nduka explained 

"Like people who are dead? Wait, does that mean, you are dead?" Prisca asked, nurturing a fear. She doesn't want her mother to tell her that, she was dead.

Okongwu was sitting comfortably on his chair when his phone beeped. He checked and it was a message from Damian. He read it and got shocked at the content. He then quickly put a call to him.

"What do you mean, she is not coming through?" He asked, sounding shocked.

"Yes, I have done everything, nothing is missing, everything is in place, but still, she refused to appear to me. I'm scared now because I understand what this means" Damian said as fear, confusion circled his voice.

"Yes, it means your destruction if she refuses to answer you." Okongwu replied firmly 

"Please, do something. I don't want to die" Damian begged 

Okongwu then appeared right in Damian's house and instructed him to repeat the spells in his presence. 

And Damian did as he was requested, but still, nothing answered him.

Okongwu asked him to repeat it and that, he should believe every word he said.

Damian repeated same, but still nothing was on sight.

Okongwu got confused. He never had similar experience with any of the members. It was a new development. 

He understood that, it meant trouble and doesn't want to be involved. 

"Damian?" he called 

And worried, scared looking Damian turned, facing him. 

"This is something new, and I'm out of ideas. This is your battle, your cross, I think you should deal with this alone."

"What are you saying? I'm new in this and I don't know anything about spirits, conjuring, all of it. I don't know anything. Help me, don't let me die" Damian sincerely cried for help

"One thing is certain..her spirit is not in the spirit world" Okongwu said

"If her spirit is not in the spirit world, then where is it?"

"That's something you should find out" Okongwu said, disappearing.

"What? Find out how? Answer me!" He yelled, but Okongwu already disappeared 

"You selfish bastard! You got me into this and now you are leaving me here to die? I curse you Okongwu. Go to hell" Damian cursed in frustration, shouting on top of his voices and doesn't give a care if Okongwu heard him insulting him.

While he was still sucking in frustration and anger, the mirror broke into pieces and shattered all over the room.

Damian who covered his face to avoid being injured, quickly stood and ran out of the room, panicking in fear as his heart hammered in his chest.
