Damian was left all alone to sort his problem. He was still a novice and had no idea on how to save himself.
He tried reaching Okongwu one more time for help, but his mobile number was unreachable.
He called one of his friends who was also a member and narrated his situation to him. But the friend turned him down, because he too understood the risks. If he gets actively involved, any mayhem that befalls Damian will definitely locate him too.
"So, they all have deserted me....That's good. That's wonderful" he said, breathing hard in anger.
He then rushed to the room where Prisca was and saw her fully awake.
She was sitting on a chair, smiling, humming, playing with a bead.
Damian rushed closer to her side and noticed she was wearing a happy face.
"What? What's that on your face?" he asked, getting more furious
"What?" Prisca asked, touching her face. She then stood, trying to get to the mirror to see her face.
As she walked towards Damian, he pushed her and started punching her hard.
Prisca fell so hard, with her face hitting the floor. She sustained an injury on the lips, but yet, she felt none of the pains.
She turned, facing Damian, laughing at him and Damian got more agitated.

As he tried to bounce on her the second time, Prisca reminded him the need to stop, that hitting her would do him no good, since she wasn't feeling the hit.
"You see my lips" Prisca said, showing him her injured lips. "It's not going to heal, in fact, you are making the decaying process even faster. It's going to remain like this till whenever, whatever you are doing with me is completed, so stop wasting your energy if you want me to remain in one piece, at least for some period of time before maggots finally take over my entire body" Prisca said, with deep sadness lining her eyes.
Damian understood everything she said and then restrained himself from hitting her further.
"When I entered the room, you were looking happy, what was that?" Damian asked, giving her a strong look.
Mrs Nduka warned Prisca not to tell Damian that she saw her in the dream, otherwise she and Pris will be in danger and their entire plans will be a waste.
"Oh no! I forgot to tell mother that, I'm totally under Damian's control" she said to herself and started fighting the urge to tell him.
She kept fighting.
Seeing the stress on her face, he knew that something was up.
"She doesn't have any reason to be happy, despite knowing what her life has become. I have a strong feeling she knows the reason her spirit has refused to answer me" Damian said to himself
"I'm asking you, why were you smiling?" he asked loudly, tightening his face.
Prisca was still fighting to resist his powerful influence on her.
She knew that, if she blows it, it will be over for her mother and Pris.
Her mother will be stuck in the realm of the lost souls forever.
There's no punishment more that. She continued fighting to save her mother and Pris.
