Prisca was still trying her possible best not to reveal the reason she was having a cheerful face when Damian came in, but his influence on her was too strong. She couldn't hold much longer.

While she was still struggling to fight the urge, Damian began wondering what was happening.
Okongwu told him that, Prisca will be under his command and won't hesitate to do anything he asks of her without a blink. But watching Prisca fighting to reveal something to him began making him believe that, he was deceived.
"Which means, with time, the power will wear off and she won't be mine to control again"

While still having these thoughts, Prisca was still holding on. The idea of not disappointing her mother kept her holding hard.

Mr Nduka was feeling devastated in the state his wife was in. She was just lying there on the hospital bed, taking a drip without knowing what was happening to her
He then, went to a holy chapel that was situated inside the hospital and started praying, asking God to save his wife and return her to him.
He sincerely asked for forgiveness on her behalf.

Still at Damian's house, he couldn't take it much longer and decided to use all his strength to force out the truth from Prisca. He then moved closer to her, got his face closer, directly opposite to her's.
"Answer me" he said, looking into her eyes, in a deep loud voce

And the words fell off Prisca's mouth.

"It's my mother. I saw my mother"

And Damian got shocked, wondering how it was possible. "She never left the house, how come she saw her mother?"

"Where did you see her? Answer me fast" he commanded

"Inbetween worlds. She said she will save me and that, she won't allow you succeed with your evil plans" Prisca said, crying bitterly. She was helpless and couldn't hold him off.

Hearing these, Damian rushed his phone and started calling Okongwu to inform him of the latest development.

Okongwu wasn't answering, so he texted him instead.

After reading the text, he called him immediately.
"Are you sure of what you are saying?" Okongwu asked

"Yes" Damian replied

"Then, she is the reason for your problem and therefore, she needs to die for real. Locate her wherever she is and end her life. Once she is fully dead, she won't have the power to interfere with the affairs of the human world. Do this fast before your time runs out" Okongwu instructed

And Damian disconnected the call, running out of the house

Prisca couldn't stop crying. She tried to see if she could run out of the house, but she couldn't. Once she gets close to the door, she gets pushed back.
And she doesn't have a phone, contacting her father was impossible. Then, the idea of going back to sleep flashed her mind.
She then, laid on the bed, adjusting her body comfortably to help her sleep faster, but sleep wasn't forth coming. She tried forcing herself, clearing her mind from all the worries, but yet, she couldn't. She yelled out in frustration. She felt helpless and sad. She couldn't save her mother who was risking her own life to save her.

Damian had reached Prisca's parent's house, but no one was there. He then asked the neighbours and one of them informed him that, he saw the husband rushing his wife to the hospital.

He then asked him if he knows the hospital he took her too.
"It should be "St Christopher's hospital", that's the only major hospital around and that's the one they normally use" the neighbour said

"Thank you" Damian said, rushing to his car
